Mumbai, August 1: Actress Gauahar Khan has come to the defense of her husband, Zaid Darbar, following derogatory remarks made by his co-contestant Arsalan Goni on the show “Alliance.” In a passionate response, she challenged Arsalan, stating, "If you have the guts, confront him directly instead of talking behind his back."

Gauahar posted a clip from a fan account showcasing a moment from an upcoming episode where Aly Goni, Arsalan, and Daisy were seen discussing Zaid. In the video, Arsalan is heard making disparaging comments about Zaid, claiming he has lost his sanity.

In her Instagram stories, Gauahar expressed her outrage, saying, “It’s disgraceful to speak such words about someone behind their back. If you’re brave enough, insult him to his face! You didn’t have the courage to speak ill when you were voting for him, Arsalan. Show your true colors.”

Gauahar and Zaid tied the knot in 2020 and are parents to two sons: Zehaan, born in 2023, and Farwaan, born in 2025.

Both Zaid and Arsalan, along with Aly and Daisy, are participants in the reality show “Alliance,” which premiered on June 26 and is hosted by Kunal Kemmu. This show marks the first international adaptation of the popular Dutch format created by John de Mol, produced in Hindi by Banijay Asia.

The reality series features 16 contestants who enter as allies, but shifting loyalties and strategic gameplay will challenge their bonds as they compete for a grand prize.

Gauahar began her career in modeling and gained fame as the winner of Bigg Boss season 7 in 2013. She made her acting debut in 2009 with Yash Raj Films' Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year.

She has since appeared in various films, including the action thriller Game (2011), the revenge drama Ishaqzaade, the suspense thriller Fever, the romantic comedy Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and the historical drama Begum Jaan.
