The creators of Haiwaan have officially released the first look of this much-anticipated film directed by Priyadarshan. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles, the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on September 11, 2026. Just two months ahead of its premiere, character posters of both actors have been unveiled. This marks the reunion of Akshay and Saif on the big screen after 18 years since their collaboration in Tashan. In a social media post sharing the official posters, Akshay noted that one of them sees everything while the other misses nothing. This suspense thriller is produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films.

In addition to Akshay and Saif, the cast of Haiwaan includes Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, and the late Asrani. In a previous interview, Priyadarshan shared that Asrani filmed for the project just days before his passing, expressing his gratitude for having captured the veteran actor's final performance. He recounted his shock upon learning of Asrani's death, noting that they had only one small scene left to shoot together. Despite Asrani's back pain, the team ensured he was comfortable during filming.

As per IMDb, Haiwaan tells the story of a blind martial artist who defends a young girl from a psychopathic killer. This film is reportedly a Hindi adaptation of Priyadarshan's Malayalam movie, Oppam, which starred Mohanlal.
