Sreenivasan Passes Away at 69

Kochi: Renowned Malayalam actor and director Sreenivasan has passed away at a private hospital in the vicinity on Saturday morning, as confirmed by sources within the film industry.

He was 69 years old.

Sreenivasan was admitted to the hospital in Tripunithura on Friday night and sadly succumbed to his health issues the following morning.

Originally from Kannur, he had been residing in Kochi for many years.

In addition to his acting career, he was a talented director, screenwriter, dubbing artist, and producer.

His film career spanned over 200 movies, beginning with his debut in Manimuzhakkam in 1976.

Sreenivasan's legacy continues through his two sons, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan, who are also established actors.
