Ratsasan 2 Update: Vishnu Vishal Opens Up About the Sequel
In a recent chat with a media outlet, Vishnu Vishal reflected on missed opportunities for sequels in his career, including Ratsasan 2. He mentioned, "There have been chances to create sequels for several films, but they never came to fruition. We had concepts for Indru Netru Naalai 2, Mundasupatti 2, Ratsasan 2, and FIR 2. Although FIR 2 was the only sequel from my production, we couldn't proceed for various reasons. It was disheartening to see these sequels slip away."
He added that if Gatta Kusthi 2 performs well, it might pave the way for sequels like Ratsasan 2, Indru Netru Naalai 2, FIR 2, and Mundasupatti 2. Ratsasan achieved significant commercial success and was remade in Telugu as Rakshasudu, featuring Bellamkonda Sreenivas, and in Hindi as Cuttputlli, starring Akshay Kumar.
