Chennai, March 7: The highly anticipated sci-fi film 'Project Hail Mary', directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, is confirmed to premiere in India on March 26, 2026, much to the excitement of fans and cinema enthusiasts.
Sony Pictures, the film's distributor in India, shared the news via their Instagram account, stating, "An update from Earth… before we head to space! We want this journey to be truly out of this world. #ProjectHailMary will be in IMAX and cinemas on March 26, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu."
Adapted from Andy Weir's bestselling novel (known for 'The Martian'), the story centers on Ryland Grace, portrayed by Ryan Gosling, who awakens on an enigmatic spacecraft with no recollection of his identity or mission. The film is set to be released in theaters across India on March 26, 2026.
