The cast includes several well-known actors: Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, and Mandy Patinkin as Odin. Amazon has shown great confidence in the series by granting it a two-season order. Ronald D. Moore is on board as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner through his Tall Ship Productions. The first two episodes will be directed by Frederick E.O. Toye.
