Exciting Developments for Ready or Not 2 Amid Fire Incident
Ready or Not 2: A Darker Sequel on the Horizon
The much-anticipated sequel, Ready or Not 2, is set to deliver a blend of horror and comedy that promises to be even darker, scarier, and funnier than its predecessor. Samara Weaving returns as the lead, joined by Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, and Elijah Wood, who will reprise their roles from the first film. This time, the survival game is expected to escalate in intensity.
However, the film is currently making headlines due to a real-life incident involving the cast. They were recently involved in a fire emergency while at the Bristol Hotel in Paris, where they were attending a press event. A fire broke out in the hotel kitchen, causing panic among the guests. Reports indicate that approximately 400 individuals, including the cast of Ready or Not 2, were evacuated safely.
According to sources, despite the alarming situation, everyone, including the promotional team, is unharmed and the fire has been contained. Actress Kathryn Newton remained composed during the ordeal and shared a video on her social media from the hotel, taken prior to the incident, showcasing her stylish look for the film's promotion.
As for the promotional activities, they are continuing as planned. For those who may not be familiar with the original film, it revolves around Grace, who marries into the affluent Le Domas family and finds herself in a deadly game of hide-and-seek, where her survival is at stake.
The sequel's plot reveals that after surviving the Le Domas family's brutal attack, Grace must navigate an even more treacherous game alongside her estranged sister, Faith. To survive, she must protect Faith and secure the High Seat of the Council that governs the world, all while being pursued by four rival families vying for power.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Ready or Not 2, which is set to hit theaters in India on April 3, 2026.
