Prahaar - The Ujjwal Nikam Story

Featuring Rajkummar Rao, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sikander Kher, and Jaideep Ahlawat, Prahaar tells the story of renowned public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who was pivotal in the prosecution of Ajmal Kasab during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks trial. Directed by Avinash Arun, this film is set to release on August 7.


Awarapan 2

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Awarapan 2 features Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani, marking Hashmi's return as the beloved character Shivam. This romantic drama is scheduled for release on August 14, with the title track Yeh Awarapan sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Amaal Mallik.


Batwara 1947

Batwara 1947, featuring Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal, and Abhimanyu Singh, is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. This film, based on the Urdu play Jis Lahore Nai Vekhya O Jamyai Nai, will be released on August 14. It narrates the story of an elderly Hindu woman who remains steadfast in her home during the Partition, despite pressure from a Muslim refugee family.


Eetha

Shraddha Kapoor is making her comeback after a two-year hiatus with Eetha, directed by Laxman Utekar. Co-starring Randeep Hooda, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, and Anant V Joshi, this biopic focuses on Vithabai Narayangaonkar, a significant figure in Maharashtra’s Tamasha dance tradition. The film highlights her contributions to preserving this cultural legacy.


Khosla Ka Ghosla 2

The beloved classic Khosla Ka Ghosla is returning with a sequel, directed by Prashant Bhagia. This dark comedy is set to hit theaters on August 28, where it will compete with Shraddha Kapoor’s Eetha.
