Director Vikramaditya Motwane also posted the Eden Gardens image on his Instagram. Rajkummar expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "And it begins... The one and only #DADA." Earlier, confirming the long-speculated casting, he mentioned, "Now that Dada has already said it, let me also make it official – yes, I am playing him in his biopic."
