Former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik and squash champion Dipika Pallikal have joyfully revealed the birth of their daughter, Raaha Pallikal Karthik, through social media. Karthik shared the delightful news on Instagram, stating, "With blessings in our hearts and gratitude beyond words, we joyfully welcome our precious girl into this world. Kabir and Zian are thrilled to introduce their baby sister, Raaha Pallikal Karthik. Love, Dipika & Dinesh."



The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, are already proud parents to two sons, Kabir and Zian. Both Karthik and Pallikal are renowned athletes, with Karthik having made significant contributions to Indian cricket and the IPL, while Pallikal has achieved remarkable success as an international squash player.

Karthik debuted in Test cricket against Australia in 2004 and played his last match against England in 2018. Over his Test career, he accumulated 1,025 runs across 26 matches and 42 innings, maintaining an average of 25, which includes one century and seven half-centuries.


ODI Career


His ODI journey began against England at Lord's in September 2004, concluding with his final appearance against New Zealand during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019. In ODIs, Karthik scored 1,752 runs in 94 matches and 79 innings, averaging 30.20, with nine half-centuries.


T20I Career


Karthik made his T20I debut against South Africa in 2006 and played his last match against Bangladesh in November 2022. In T20Is, he scored 686 runs in 60 matches and 48 innings, averaging 26.38, including one half-century.
