Directed by Aditya Dhar, the sequel has already created a buzz online, with both fans and celebrities expressing their excitement. Among the latest to join the fanfare is actress Preity Zinta, who shared a nostalgic photo with her Dil Ka Rishta co-star Arjun Rampal, who portrays Major Iqbal in Dhurandhar 2. Preity, known for her role in Kya Kehna, expressed her admiration for director Aditya Dhar, calling the film "mind-blowing" and awarding it five stars. She concluded her message by recommending the film as a "must-watch" for fans.


Preity Zinta isn't alone in her praise; other celebrities, including South Indian superstar Allu Arjun and Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, have also commended the film.
