According to initial trade estimates, the film’s paid premiere shows set for March 18 have sparked significant interest, with previews alone amassing around Rs 37.11 crore in advance sales. Approximately 6.86 lakh tickets have been sold for these special screenings, showcasing the excitement surrounding the film. The opening day on March 19 is also witnessing strong traction, with advance sales for Day 1 exceeding Rs 22.70 crore and over 6.1 lakh tickets sold across more than 10,000 shows. These numbers are expected to increase as the release date nears and more shows are added in multiplexes and single-screen theatres.
The Hindi version of the film is driving the majority of the bookings, reportedly selling around 2.82 lakh tickets for approximately Rs 13.70 crore in standard formats. Premium formats are also performing well, with IMAX screenings selling 4,943 tickets worth Rs 41.97 lakh, while Dolby Cinema showings have sold 243 tickets generating around Rs 1.74 lakh. In India alone, the film has already surpassed the Rs 60 crore mark in advance bookings when combining paid previews and opening day sales, which includes nearly 10 lakh tickets sold and around Rs 13 crore in block bookings by distributors and exhibitors. Notably, these impressive figures have been achieved despite the film receiving an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certification.
