Dhurandhar 2's Box Office Journey

Ranveer Singh's latest release, Dhurandhar 2, is approaching the conclusion of its first month in cinemas and is still showing strong performance at the Indian box office. After a robust opening week, the film has seen a typical drop in ticket sales, which is common for such releases. Nevertheless, it has managed to keep impressive figures, and as it reaches its 28th day, forecasts suggest a promising outlook.

On Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, ticket sales surged, with showings exceeding 10,000. However, the total screenings have since dipped to 9,970 across the country, which is still commendable for a film in its fourth week. Currently, ticket prices are set below 260 rupees, making it accessible to a broad audience.

Before the day's shows commenced, Dhurandhar 2 had already secured 1.09 lakh tickets through advance bookings. The gross revenue from these pre-sales reached 2.53 crore rupees, excluding blocked seats, while the net earnings stood at 2.15 crore rupees. These numbers indicate a continued interest from moviegoers, even as the film nears its month-long run.

Based on the latest pre-sales data, Dhurandhar 2 is projected to generate around 5 crore rupees net across all languages on its 28th day, with the Hindi version expected to contribute approximately 4.8 crore rupees. This performance positions the film to achieve the third-highest net earnings for a fourth Wednesday in box office history, following its predecessor, which holds the record at 12.6 crore rupees, and Pushpa 2, which stands at 10.08 crore rupees.

While Dhurandhar 2 is expected to earn about 60.31% less than the original film, it is still on track for a commendable performance. As it continues to attract audiences, the film remains a significant contender in the current box office scene, showcasing the lasting appeal of its star and narrative.
