The film Dhurandhar 2, featuring Ranveer Singh, has become a massive hit, breaking numerous box office records. Following its remarkable success, the spy thriller is now aiming to surpass the earnings of Prabhas and SS Rajamouli's iconic film, Baahubali 2. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 has already outperformed Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2, securing its position as the third highest-grossing Indian film globally. It now requires just a few crores to overtake Baahubali 2 and claim the second position.

On April 20, Jio Studios released the latest box office statistics for Dhurandhar 2. Currently in its fifth week, this multi-starrer has established itself as the highest-grossing Hindi film in India, with an impressive net collection of Rs 1153 crore over 32 days. The gross total stands at Rs 1360 crore. Internationally, the film has garnered a substantial Rs 423 crore (gross), bringing its total worldwide earnings to an astounding Rs 1783 crore.

The top position is currently held by Aamir Khan's Dangal, which has a worldwide collection of Rs 2070.30 crore, and it is likely to maintain its lead for the foreseeable future.


Dhurandhar 2 Competes with Bhooth Bangla

After enjoying a month of uninterrupted box office success, Dhurandhar 2 now faces competition from Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla. This horror-comedy, which premiered on April 17, has performed well in its opening weekend, collecting Rs 65 crore. Despite this new competition, Dhurandhar 2 continues to screen in a significant number of theaters and is expected to keep adding to its impressive earnings.
