Following the birth of Dua, Deepika made the decision to step back from several projects. Reports indicate that she requested an 8-hour workday from the producers of the films Spirit and Kalki 2898 AD sequels. Ultimately, she departed from these projects due to creative differences, with Triptii Dimri stepping in for her role in Spirit. There are also rumors that Sai Pallavi may take over her part in the Kalki sequel, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Additionally, her collaboration with Allu Arjun is a pan-India project directed by Atlee, who previously worked with her on the blockbuster Jawan, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. Deepika's cameo in Jawan was well-received by audiences, further heightening anticipation for her future roles.
