Box Office Performance of 'Bhooth Bangla'


The horror-comedy film "Bhooth Bangla," starring Akshay Kumar and helmed by Priyadarshan, experienced a notable drop in box office earnings on its fourth day, despite a strong start over the weekend. After a robust ₹23.00 crore on its third day, the film's revenue fell to ₹6.75 crore on Monday, reflecting a staggering 70.7% decline. Nevertheless, the film has amassed a total net collection of ₹64.75 crore in India, with a worldwide gross of ₹106.34 crore, affirming its status as one of the recent box office hits.


On its fourth day, "Bhooth Bangla" was showcased in 10,984 screenings across India, contributing to a domestic gross of ₹77.34 crore. The film also made a mark internationally, earning ₹2.50 crore on Day 4, which brings its overseas total to ₹29.00 crore. The film's opening weekend saw impressive attendance, peaking at 36.0% occupancy on Sunday, but the Monday figures indicated a typical post-weekend slump.


Occupancy rates for "Bhooth Bangla" on its fourth day were relatively low, averaging 13.26% nationwide. Morning shows saw the least turnout, with an occupancy rate of merely 8.62%. However, attendance improved as the day progressed, with afternoon screenings reaching 15.62% and evening shows maintaining a similar level at 15.54%. This trend is common in urban cinemas, where audiences prefer later showtimes after work.
