Despite a modest collection of less than 8 crore on its second Friday, the film rebounded impressively over the weekend, raking in over 12 crore combined on Saturday and Sunday.

On its tenth day, which coincided with its second Sunday, Karuppu achieved an impressive collection of 14.45 crore, reflecting a 16.06% increase from the previous day's earnings of 12.45 crore. As reported by Sacnilk, the film's total net collection has now reached 148.55 crore, translating to a gross of approximately 175.28 crore. By the end of day 11, Karuppu has officially crossed the 150 crore net mark, making it Suriya's first film to reach this significant milestone.

With its current trajectory, Karuppu is on track to join the ranks of the top 10 highest-grossing films in Kollywood history. To secure a position on this prestigious list, the film must surpass Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu, which has a net collection of 178.14 crore. This means Karuppu needs an additional 29.6 crore to enter the elite group of all-time top 10 Kollywood grossers in India, a feat anticipated to be achieved either during the second week or by the third weekend.
