Jailer 2, helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is now expected to debut in September, specifically targeting the Ganesh Chaturthi weekend to optimize its box office performance. In contrast, Toxic, directed by Geethu Mohandas, is aiming for a release in August. Both films are among the most eagerly awaited titles of the year. Jailer 2 marks Rajinikanth’s return as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, while Yash is making his comeback to the big screen after a four-year hiatus.

Jailer 2 Aiming for a September Launch

According to reports, Jailer 2 is planning a strategic delay in its release, moving from an initial August 14 date to a new target of September 11. This adjustment is believed to enhance its opening weekend potential.
