Hanuman Ansh's Resilience at the Box Office

The devotional film Hanuman Ansh continues to impress at the Indian box office, showcasing remarkable staying power. Despite facing tough competition from the newly released Drishyam 3, which has limited its screening opportunities, the film has retained a solid audience base. Although the number of shows has decreased compared to earlier weeks, the occupancy rates remain strong, enabling the film to consistently earn over 2 crore daily.

On its 58th day in theaters, which was its ninth Saturday, Hanuman Ansh achieved a net collection of 2.1 crore. This marks a slight drop of about 6.67% from the 2.25 crore collected on the previous day, which benefited from a holiday. To date, the film has amassed a total net collection of 321.73 crore in India, translating to a gross of 379.72 crore. Industry experts believe that reaching the 350-crore net milestone is still within reach for this production.

A Major Box Office Achievement

With its latest earnings, Hanuman Ansh has officially surpassed the lifetime domestic earnings of Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which previously held a record of 320.34 crore. This milestone is significant in the film's theatrical journey. Looking forward, it is on track to surpass the lifetime earnings of Saiyaara, which stands at 337.69 crore. If it achieves this, Hanuman Ansh will become the 17th highest-grossing Hindi film in history.

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and produced by a talented team including Ragini S, Namrata G Singh, Anupriya A Nagar, and Chaturvedi himself, the film features performances from Shobhinaw Satyaa, Chandan Anand, Purnima Tiwari, and Vihaan Shedge. Since its release on August 7, 2026, the film has received a warm reception from audiences, currently boasting a 9.6 out of 10 rating on the ticketing platform BookMyShow, based on over 262,000 votes. Its ability to maintain momentum amidst new releases underscores its ongoing significance in the current cinematic landscape.
