Dhurandhar 2 Continues to Dominate the Box Office

Aditya Dhar's latest venture, Dhurandhar 2, has firmly established itself as a box office sensation, achieving an impressive hat-trick of hits for the director. Featuring Ranveer Singh, this spy action thriller has maintained its strong performance, even amidst competition from Bhooth Bangla. As it approaches its fifth weekend, early indicators suggest that Dhurandhar 2 is still going strong on its 33rd day of release.

On its fifth Monday, Dhurandhar 2 was showcased in 1,532 theaters nationwide. The film kicked off the day with a morning occupancy rate of 7.69%, which rose to 14.72% in the afternoon before slightly declining to 13.90% for the evening screenings. Preliminary estimates suggest that the film is likely to earn between 2 to 2.5 crore on this day, maintaining a robust performance compared to the 2.7 crore it garnered the previous Friday.

After 33 days in cinemas, Dhurandhar 2's total earnings in India are projected to reach around 1,154.50 to 1,155 crore net. The film is now aiming to surpass the domestic lifetime earnings of Pushpa 2, which stands at 1,265.97 crore, in its quest to become the highest-grossing film in India across all languages. However, the ongoing success of Bhooth Bangla may present a hurdle in achieving this goal.

In just half a year, the partnership between Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh has birthed the highest-grossing Indian film franchise to date. The previous film, Dhurandhar, concluded its run in 2025 with a net collection of 894.49 crore. When combined with the earnings from The Revenge, the franchise's total now surpasses 2,050 crore in India alone, cementing its status as a monumental box office triumph.

As the box office landscape continues to shift, Dhurandhar 2 exemplifies the lasting appeal of its creators and cast. With ongoing updates and trends, both audiences and industry analysts are eager to see how this film will ultimately influence the future of Indian cinema.
