Following the release, Chetna engaged in an exclusive interview where she opened up about the challenging six months leading up to the film's debut. During this period, she faced significant personal hardships, including her mother's hospitalization, her partner Nishank Swami's serious health diagnosis, and her pet dog's battle with cancer.
Chetna Pande on Overcoming Life's Challenges
Reflecting on her recent experiences, Chetna shared, "When someone faces constant breakdowns, there comes a point where there's nothing left to break down about." She recounted the struggles of her mother's prolonged illness due to cirrhosis, her partner's critical health issues, and her dog's cancer diagnosis. "I had to focus on them; nothing else mattered to me during that time. I was praying for their recovery, realizing that my world revolved around my family and loved ones," she explained.
During this difficult phase, Chetna felt disconnected from the outside world. She emphasized the emotional toll of witnessing loved ones struggle for their lives, stating, "The pain of seeing your close ones in distress is unparalleled. I realized that I had nothing left to lose, and that was a profound realization for me."
Chetna Pande on Facing Rejections in Her Career
Emerging from her tough times, Chetna expressed optimism, stating, "From here, the only way is up, especially with our film releasing at this moment. I was uncertain about my comeback, having faced numerous rejections throughout my 15-year career." She admitted that the frequency of rejections had dulled her sense of achievement and happiness. "I had forgotten what it felt like to celebrate victories, but reconnecting with life helped me regain perspective," she concluded.
