A recent analysis by a digital platform has identified several professional wrestlers, especially women, who endure significant online abuse across major sports leagues. By examining over four million social media interactions from April 30, 2024, to April 30, 2025, Charlotte Flair was found to be the most affected by online negativity.
The research assessed the levels of negativity directed at athletes from various sports, including football, NBA, NFL, and WWE. According to the findings, Charlotte Flair faced a staggering 36.4% negativity rate, making her the most harassed athlete in the study.
“Our research indicates that Charlotte Flair not only experienced the highest level of online harassment among wrestlers but also across all athletes surveyed, with a remarkable 36.4% negativity rating,” the report stated.
