The video included a text overlay that conveyed her deep yearning to be reunited with them, stating, "I never thought broken pieces could be shattered until I saw my heart. Miss you, my 3 sons. I wait for divine intervention to have you 3 back again in my life." In her accompanying note, she elaborated on how trauma has influenced her life and the ongoing struggle to heal from emotional wounds.
She challenged the notion that suffering inherently makes one stronger, asserting, "The strongest people are usually the ones who are still breaking. People call me strong. But pain & trauma did not make me strong. They broke me, over & over again, until I had no choice but to learn how to heal myself."
The Ongoing Healing Process
Celina emphasized that healing is not a one-time event. She explained that even when she feels balanced, painful memories can resurface unexpectedly, reopening old wounds. During these challenging moments, she chooses to retreat from external chaos and focus on enduring the pain rather than avoiding it. By allowing herself the necessary space, she gradually pieces herself back together and recommences her healing journey.
She further articulated that trauma has stripped away parts of her identity, leaving behind invisible scars. While many attribute her resilience to her hardships, she perceives it differently. "Trauma did not build me. It broke me. It stole parts of me, left scars no one can see, & made me grieve versions of myself that I can never fully get back. The strength people admire was never born from the pain. It came from me," she expressed.
In closing, Celina remarked that true strength is found in the repeated choice to heal, even while carrying emotional burdens. She believes that the strongest individuals are not those who never break but those who continually find the courage to rebuild themselves despite ongoing hurt.
