BTS Launches Mexico Tour with Enthusiastic Fans


BTS commenced the Mexico segment of their ARIRANG World Tour with an electrifying start. The group greeted a massive crowd of over 50,000 fans from the balcony of the National Palace after a meeting with President Claudia Sheinbaum. The Zocalo square transformed into a vibrant sea of fans, showcasing the band's immense global appeal. Following this, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook proceeded to conduct a sound check before taking the stage for their first performance, where their Spanish phrases left the audience in awe. The group is set to perform three sold-out concerts at Estadio GNP Seguros (formerly Foro Sol) in Mexico City, starting on May 7 and continuing on May 9 and May 10, 2026.

J-Hope also addressed the crowd in Spanish, saying, "Hola México! Se siente increíble volver a estar en este escenario. Me siento muy feliz de poder estar con ustedes 2 días más. Aunque todavía no es suficiente para nosotros, ¿verdad? Muchas gracias, ¡Méxicoooooo! Los amo!" (Translation: Hello Mexico! It feels incredible to be back on this stage. BTS is projected to generate over $100 million for Mexico City during their three-night ARIRANG concert series. In fact, more than 135,000 tickets for the stadium events sold out within minutes, underscoring the group's influence in every country they visit.
