BTS Captivates ARMYs in Mexico City

As part of their ARIRANG World Tour, BTS has already mesmerized fans with two spectacular performances at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City, with a third concert scheduled for May 10. During the first day, while performing their popular track 'Idol', V, also known as Kim Taehyung, was spotted enjoying a banderilla, a type of corn dog, from a local vendor, creating a memorable moment. Fan videos later emerged showing one of his team members attempting to pay for the snack, but fans in line insisted it was a gift from the Mexican ARMYs.

On the second day of the concert, V was seen enjoying a blue cotton candy, which led to another touching moment. A social media user shared a video showing V giving his cotton candy to a fan nearby. The fan recounted, “Taehyung gave the cotton candy to a girl next to her who had Tata. I wasn’t lucky; he gave it to the girl next to me.”

Prior to their concerts, BTS visited the National Palace, where they met with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. From the balcony, the group greeted approximately 50,000 fans who had gathered below. The President commended BTS for promoting messages of friendship, peace, and love, calling their visit a significant event. She expressed that the country eagerly awaits their return. During their balcony appearance, BTS engaged with fans, speaking in both Spanish and English. RM conveyed his affection and gratitude, expressing excitement for the next concert, while V acknowledged his limited Spanish skills but expressed his eagerness to connect with the ARMYs and shared his appreciation for the warm welcome in Mexico.
