Box Office Collection for 'Raja Shivaji' and 'Ek Din'

Box Office Collection Day 2 for Raja Shivaji and Ek Din: Directed and starred by Riteish Deshmukh, 'Raja Shivaji' premiered in theaters on Friday. On the same day, the film 'Ek Din', featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, also hit the screens. The box office collection for both films on their second day has now been revealed. The period drama 'Raja Shivaji' had a strong opening but saw a 7.0% decline in earnings on its second day.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Raja Shivaji' garnered a net collection of ₹10.55 crores from 6,275 shows. Combining the earnings from Friday and Saturday, the film's total net collection now stands at ₹21.9 crores, with a gross collection of ₹26.06 crores. The Hindi version contributed approximately ₹3.40 crores to the second day's earnings, while the Marathi version earned around ₹7.15 crores.

Occupancy Trends:

The occupancy trends for the second day further highlight this difference. The Hindi version had an occupancy rate of about 20.46% across 3,041 shows, while the Marathi version performed significantly better with an occupancy of 55.71%. Produced by Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company, the film features a star-studded cast including Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Boman Irani, Amol Gupte, and Genelia Deshmukh, with a cameo by Salman Khan.

Performance of Junaid's 'Ek Din'

Directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan, the film 'Ek Din' starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi has not made a significant impact at the box office over its first two days. The film collected ₹1.15 crores on its opening day and managed to earn ₹1 crore from 1,765 shows on the second day. Its total net collection now stands at ₹2.15 crores, with a gross collection of ₹2.57 crores.
