Clarification on Diljit Dosanjh's Departure

Recent reports suggested that Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh had withdrawn from the eagerly awaited sequel of 'No Entry', which features Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, due to creative disagreements with the production team.

However, producer Boney Kapoor has stepped forward to dispel these claims. In an exclusive conversation with a media outlet, Kapoor stated that the rumors regarding creative differences are unfounded. He acknowledged that there are scheduling conflicts but emphasized, "There are no creative issues at all. That is completely untrue. We are making every effort to resolve the scheduling problems."

Kapoor also mentioned that a clearer understanding of the situation regarding casting and the filming schedule is anticipated by June.

The original 'No Entry', released in 2005, featured Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. The sequel, directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, was initially set to premiere in late 2025.

On another note, Diljit is currently finalizing the shoot for 'Sardaarji 3' and is set to appear in 'Border 2', alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. This film is centered around the 1971 India-Pakistan war, where Diljit will portray Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, an Indian Air Force officer who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery.

Recently, Dosanjh made a memorable appearance at the Met Gala 2025, showcasing his Punjabi heritage in a stunning ensemble by Prabal Gurung.
