The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has responded, urging the Madhya Pradesh government to investigate the matter. Soni has since returned to Mumbai safely, expressing gratitude to the authorities for their support. In the video, he accused the production team of an upcoming project in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, of failing to pay him the agreed-upon fee after an initial signing amount of Rs 50,000. He claimed that he was threatened with physical harm when he sought his payment. Overcome with emotion, Soni revealed that he had already completed eight days of filming, yet his remuneration was still pending. Upon confronting the director, he alleged that he faced intimidation. This incident has raised significant concerns regarding the treatment of artists and the importance of timely payments.

The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has voiced its concern regarding Soni's claims. The organization has called on the Madhya Pradesh government to promptly address the situation and initiate a thorough investigation. They have also urged Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to instruct the police to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the producer and director based on Soni's allegations, ensuring the safety of film workers and artists in the region. AICWA stated, "The emotional video shared by Satendra Soni reflects the pain and distress he says he has endured. His allegations raise serious concerns about the treatment of artists and workers in the Indian film industry. No artist or worker should have to endure such treatment." They emphasized that many artists face similar harassment and that these complaints warrant serious attention. The association reiterated, "This is not a minor matter. The Government of Madhya Pradesh should take immediate cognizance of this issue and ensure a fair and impartial investigation. Every worker and artist deserves dignity, timely payment, and protection from intimidation."

In a recent update on Instagram, Soni announced that he had safely returned to Mumbai from Madhya Pradesh. He expressed gratitude to the Maihar Police and others who assisted him. Two fellow artists, who reportedly experienced similar issues, also returned with him and thanked the authorities for their support, assuring everyone of their safety and well-being. Meanwhile, the production team of the film, titled Pedh Palki, has yet to respond to the allegations regarding payment delays and intimidation.
