Salman Khan Decodes the Title
In his Instagram stories, Salman Khan shared his interpretation of the film's title. He humorously noted that the 'B' in 'Bandar' represents Bobby Deol, while 'A' signifies 'aag'. He playfully added, "If you don't go, you'll regret it. 'D' stands for Deol, and 'A' for 'what now? Aamir Khan? 'R' is for Race, so race to the cinema to catch it!" He encouraged his followers to watch Bobby's film with friends, concluding with a catchy phrase about 'Bandar' bringing everyone into the cinema.
For those unfamiliar, the film, penned by Abhishek Banerjee and Sudip Sharma, is reportedly inspired by real events. It also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, and Saba Azad. While 'Bandar' is set to release in India next month, it had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last year. The narrative centers around Sameer Mehra, whose life takes a tumultuous turn when his ex-wife Gayatri returns, accusing him of rape.
