An FIR was lodged against her by BJP leader Keya Ghosh at the Anandapur Police Station on July 26, accusing the actress of displaying an offensive image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the demonstration. Mitra's involvement included the alleged use of a derogatory image of PM Modi. The protest, organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), concluded on July 25 after Pradhan resigned, with the government agreeing to the CJP's demands. Pralhad Joshi has since been appointed as the new education minister. The student protests garnered support from various celebrities and social media users, with several actors participating in demonstrations in Delhi and Mumbai.
