At the funeral, she was visibly emotional, struggling to hold back tears as she bid farewell to her aaji. Since the passing, she has been posting cherished memories of Asha ji on social media. The day after Asha's funeral, Zanai woke up feeling heartbroken and overwhelmed. She expressed that she had lost her "partner in crime, best friend, and the person who completed my entire world." In her heartfelt message, she wrote: "These are just a few things to remember her by, but to all those who have felt this loss with me, remember that she was and is the definition of LIFE and LAUGHTER. If you have to remember her, remember her that way! She’s watching over us all, especially her family, and I believe she will return to me soon, as she promised. I have lost the love of my life, and there is no greater grief. I urge everyone to live life to the fullest and celebrate her legacy!"
