Arijit Singh Announces Exciting Nine-City Tour in 2027: What Fans Can Expect!
Arijit Singh's Grand Return to Live Performances
Arijit Singh has officially revealed plans for a spectacular nine-city tour across India set for 2027. This tour marks a pivotal moment in his career, being his first solo venture after announcing his retirement from playback singing. This decision indicates a new direction for the artist, as he shifts his focus from film soundtracks to independent music and live performances.
The announcement comes after a transformative year for Singh, who had previously stated his intention to step back from the playback scene. Despite this, he continued to contribute to various film soundtracks to honor prior commitments. With those obligations now fulfilled, the upcoming tour signifies his dedication to his new role as a touring artist, expanding his reach to nine cities nationwide.
Looking Back at the One Night Only Tour
The 2027 tour builds on the success of his earlier concert series, the One Night Only India Tour, which wrapped up in 2023. This previous tour covered five major cities, starting in Mumbai in November 2022 and concluding in Delhi in March 2023. It was a remarkable success, with over 50,000 tickets sold across the five locations.
Due to high demand, a special concert was added in Pune on January 27, 2023. This event was particularly notable for its luxurious offerings, including a Premium Lounge package that featured unlimited food and premium drinks, priced at 16 lakh. While the organizers did not disclose the total earnings from the tour, industry estimates suggested that Singh's fee for a live performance was around 2 crore.
Tour Highlights and Ticketing Information
The upcoming 2027 tour is designed to celebrate Singh’s impressive two-decade journey in the music industry. Promotional materials highlight the deep emotional connections fans have with his music, showcasing how his songs have accompanied them through various life events, from love stories to personal struggles. This tour promises fans a chance to experience these beloved tracks live.
