Production Begins for Anil Ravipudi's Latest Film

Director Anil Ravipudi has officially commenced production on his highly anticipated film featuring Daggubati Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The project, which is currently referred to as VenkyAnil5, was inaugurated with a traditional muhurat pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad on June 18. The event saw a gathering of notable figures from the Telugu film industry, amplifying the excitement surrounding this upcoming film. Alongside the lead actors, the cast includes Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty, and it is being promoted as a major entertainer set for release during the Sankranthi 2027 festival. Regular filming is slated to begin later this month, marking Anil Ravipudi's next venture following his work on Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which starred Chiranjeevi.

Launch Ceremony Attended by Industry Heavyweights

The launch event for Anil Ravipudi's film attracted several prominent personalities from the Telugu cinema scene. Esteemed writer Vijayendra Prasad, renowned filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao, and leading producers Dil Raju and Allu Aravind were among the attendees. The lead actors, Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram, were also present, accompanied by actresses Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty.

As per the latest updates, the regular shooting schedule is expected to kick off on June 22. The film is being produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, in partnership with Suresh Productions and Zee Studios. The music for the film will be composed by GV Prakash.

Speculations Surrounding the Cast

Even prior to its official launch, the film garnered attention due to various speculations regarding its cast. Initial reports suggested that Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil was being considered for a role, while later rumors indicated that actor Karthi might join the project. However, these claims have not been officially confirmed. In response to the speculation, Anil Ravipudi urged media outlets and fans to refrain from disseminating unverified information and to await official announcements from the production team.

This film marks yet another collaboration between Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi, who previously worked together on the successful family comedies F2: Fun and Frustration and F3: Fun and Frustration. Venkatesh also portrayed Venky Gowda in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Their previous films have performed well at the box office and have been well-received by audiences.

Additionally, this project is significant for Kalyan Ram, who is collaborating with Anil Ravipudi for the first time after Pattas. Meanwhile, Venkatesh is also working with director Trivikram Srinivas on the eagerly awaited family entertainer Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47, also known as AK-47. This marks their first collaboration with Trivikram as the director, although they have previously teamed up on popular films like Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari, where Trivikram contributed as a writer.
