Mumbai, March 5: Actress Aneet Padda has attributed her recent success at the Zee Cine Awards to her father, expressing that she has realized his dream of becoming an actress.

At the Zee Cine Awards 2026, Aneet achieved a remarkable feat by winning both the Best Debut Female award and the Viewer’s Choice Best Actress award.

During her acceptance speech, she delivered a touching dedication that resonated with the audience.

Aneet expressed, “The only thought in my mind right now is that I owe this to my dad, this is for him.”

She continued, “Papa, I know that when you were young, you aspired to be an actor. Now your daughter has fulfilled that dream. You once told me that you are living your dream through me.”

She added, “I have never felt happier. I love you dearly. I also want to remind everyone that the applause you give is not just for us actors.”

“Those claps are actually for all your stories and your lives. I am truly grateful to play a small role in honoring that.”

On the professional front, Aneet made her acting debut in the film Saiyaaraa, which was released in 2025.

This romantic drama, directed by Mohit Suri, featured Aneet alongside Ahaan Pandey in leading roles.

Aneet is now preparing for her next film, “Shakti Shalini.”

Additionally, she is reportedly pursuing a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science.
