The Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to trace the source and intent of the threat.

Alongside these security issues, Bachchan has also been candid about his health. Earlier this week, he shared with his followers via his blog and social media that medical professionals had recommended he take some time off to recuperate. In a post on X, he apologized for his reduced communication, explaining that he had been instructed to prioritize his recovery.

Further elaborating on his situation, he took to Tumblr to discuss the importance of healing and the human body's needs. Despite these challenges, he continued to engage with his audience, sending seasonal greetings, including wishes for Dussehra, while emphasizing his need for rest.

Amitabh Bachchan remains a significant figure in the Indian entertainment industry, currently hosting the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. His latest film appearance was in the Tamil movie Vettaiyan, featuring Rajinikanth in the lead role.
