The ongoing conflict in the Middle East, particularly involving the US, Israel, and Iran, has had widespread repercussions globally. Recently, airspace was reopened to facilitate international travel despite the tense situation. However, Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest in the world, has once again faced disruptions due to new missile strikes in the UAE, as reported by Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel.

Patel, known for her role in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, shared on her X account that her flight from New York to Mumbai was rerouted to Muscat following the missile attacks in the UAE.

Ameesha Patel Updates on the US-Iran Conflict

In her post, Ameesha mentioned that she was traveling back to Mumbai via an Emirates flight, which was initially scheduled to land at Dubai International Airport. Due to the recent missile incidents, the airspace has been closed, leading to the diversion. She tweeted, “We have now been diverted to MUSCAT and are awaiting further updates.” The actress expressed her hopes for everyone’s safety and a swift resolution to the conflict.

Ameesha's tweet has gained significant traction on social media, with many users expressing their prayers for her safety and that of other passengers. Previously, several Indian celebrities, including Ajith and Sonal Chauhan, found themselves stranded in Dubai and other Middle Eastern locations when the conflict escalated, but they have since returned safely to India.

The ongoing war has also impacted the economies of various nations, particularly affecting trade due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which is under Iranian control. Fortunately, Indian vessels are still permitted to navigate through the Strait due to positive diplomatic relations with the involved countries.
