Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor Celebrate Ganesh Visarjan: A Glimpse into Their Family Life
Star-Studded Ganesh Utsav Celebration
Recently, Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were seen in Mumbai taking part in the Ganpati Visarjan ceremonies, accompanied by Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor. The family came together to say goodbye to the deity on the fifth day of the Ganesh Utsav festival, engaging in traditional prayers and rituals outside their home. Dressed in festive clothing, the event garnered attention, particularly due to Alia's vigilant efforts to protect her daughter, Raha.
As they moved through the crowd, Ranbir was seen carrying the idol while Alia held onto their daughter. Throughout the procession, Alia was noted for shielding Raha’s face from the prying eyes of the paparazzi, ensuring that the little one stayed out of the spotlight. This action highlighted the couple's ongoing commitment to safeguarding their daughter's privacy since her birth in November 2022.
Prioritizing Family Privacy
The couple has consistently prioritized their daughter's privacy. Although Raha's face was first shown to the public during Christmas 2023, the parents have been very selective about media exposure since then. Neetu Kapoor has also previously urged photographers to avoid taking pictures of her granddaughter. This protective approach reflects the family's desire to balance their public personas with a need for personal privacy, a principle they have upheld since their marriage in April 2022.
Upcoming Projects and Career Focus
On the professional front, both Alia and Ranbir are gearing up for their collaboration in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated film, Love and War. Officially announced in January 2024, the film also stars Vicky Kaushal. This project marks a significant reunion for Ranbir and Bhansali, following their first collaboration in 2007, and represents another milestone for Alia after her success in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Despite their hectic schedules, the couple remains dedicated to balancing their flourishing careers with their family life.
