Bhooth Bangla's Steady Box Office Performance

Bhooth Bangla, the newest horror-comedy starring Akshay Kumar, is showing impressive resilience at the box office as it wraps up its fifth day since release. The film debuted on April 17 and has managed to maintain its audience interest despite a notable drop in earnings on its first Monday. Directed by Priyadarshan, this marks the fourth time the actor and director have teamed up, following their successful collaborations in the past.

Upon its launch, Bhooth Bangla made headlines with a strong start, raking in ₹3.75 crore from paid previews and ₹12.25 crore on its opening day, leading to a total of around ₹16 crore for the first day, as reported by Sacnilk. The film boasts a talented cast, including the late Asrani, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar, and Jisshu Sengupta, which has contributed to its widespread appeal.

However, the film faced a sharp decline in earnings on its first Monday, with collections plummeting by approximately 70.7% to ₹6.75 crore. This drop brought its total net collection in India to about ₹64.75 crore by the end of Day 4, according to trade analysts. Despite this dip, Bhooth Bangla has managed to sustain a consistent presence at the box office, indicating a dedicated fan base.

As of April 21, the film has reportedly earned around ₹4.48 crore by 6:30 PM, pushing its total gross collection in India to approximately ₹82.62 crore, with a net collection of about ₹69.23 crore. While the final figures for Day 5 are still awaited, the film's performance indicates it is holding its own against other releases.

In a comparative analysis, Bhooth Bangla has outshined Jolly LLB 3, which garnered around ₹65.50 crore in its first five days. This comparison underscores Bhooth Bangla's successful box office journey, as it has already eclipsed the earnings of its predecessor within the same period, demonstrating its popularity among cinema enthusiasts.
