The horror-comedy film 'Bhoot Bangla', featuring Akshay Kumar, has been captivating audiences for two weeks since its release. After 16 days in theaters, the film continues to perform well, marking Akshay's twelfth film to cross the 200 crore milestone. Released on April 17, amidst the competition from Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', 'Bhoot Bangla' surprised many by reaching the 200 crore mark, making it the fifth highest-grossing film of the year.

Surpassing Prabhas's 'D Raja Saab'

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Bhoot Bangla' collected approximately 4.50 crores on Friday, bringing its gross collection in India to 157.55 crores. The worldwide collection has exceeded 211 crores, allowing Akshay's film to outpace Prabhas's horror-comedy 'D Raja Saab', which had a box office collection of 208 crores earlier this year, despite its production budget reportedly exceeding 400 crores.
