Superstar Akshay Kumar's latest film, *Bhoot Bangla*, has officially premiered in cinemas. Directed by Priyadarshan, this film has been highly anticipated by fans eager to see this dynamic duo back on screen together. Box Office Success

*Bhoot Bangla* has made a remarkable impression on audiences, achieving a robust start at the box office. The film opened with impressive double-digit figures, surpassing the opening day performance of *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2*.

As reported by a trade website, *Bhoot Bangla* collected an estimated ₹15.75 crore on its first day, although this figure may be adjusted once official numbers are confirmed. Approximately 130,000 tickets were sold on opening day.


Strong Earnings and Future Prospects

On its first day, the film generated ₹3.32 crore from domestic bookings alone. Additionally, Thursday proved to be a lucrative day, with ₹3.50 crore earned through paid previews. Given the significant buzz surrounding *Bhoot Bangla*, it is expected to break several records in the coming days.

With a total gross collection of ₹18.90 crore in India, the film has outperformed the previous opening-day record held by *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2*, which earned ₹14.50 crore in 2022.

Despite its strong start, *Bhoot Bangla* faces tough competition in the horror-comedy genre. Films like *Stree 2*, which grossed ₹55 crore, and *Thama*, with ₹24 crore, currently hold the top spots in this category.

This film marks Priyadarshan's return to theaters alongside Akshay Kumar after more than ten years. The duo has previously collaborated on successful films such as *Hera Pheri*, *Garam Masala*, and *Bhool Bhulaiyaa*.

*Bhoot Bangla* boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Jisshu Sengupta. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, the film's budget is estimated at around ₹120 crore.
