The reality show participant confirmed that after nine years of marriage, she and Gaurav are moving towards divorce. Just a day prior, Gaurav, the winner of Bigg Boss 19, addressed his wife's announcement, expressing his feelings in an exclusive interview with a media outlet, stating that he still loves Akanksha, whom he wed in November 2016.

On June 30, Gaurav was seen on the set of Laughter Chefs 3. After completing his shoot, he spoke with us, affirming, "I support Akanksha and will always be there for her. I love her."

For those unaware, Akanksha recently shared the reasons behind her decision to separate from Gaurav. During an episode of Lock Upp 2, she mentioned that upon marrying Gaurav, she lacked maternal instincts. Over time, she came to the realization that motherhood was not for her, and Gaurav was initially accepting of that. However, circumstances shifted when Gaurav expressed a desire to have children. "I cannot provide that for him... I had informed him long ago that I was not suited to be a mother," she explained. Akanksha further recounted a conversation with Gaurav, suggesting he could leave her if he wished. It was after her time on Bigg Boss 19 that she recognized Gaurav's longing for a child. "I cannot do it. I didn’t want to put him in that situation," she added.
