Updates on Adivi Sesh's Career
On The Work Front
Despite receiving mixed reviews, Dacoit has garnered praise from various celebrities. Nani, during a promotional event, complimented the film, noting its originality and ambition compared to Adivi Sesh's previous projects like Major and Goodachari. Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit features a talented cast, including Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla. The film has performed steadily at the box office, earning around Rs 25.50 crore in India within six days, with a global gross of approximately Rs 41.69 crore. The narrative follows an enraged convict seeking revenge against his ex-girlfriend, unfolding into a complex tale of love, betrayal, and redemption.
Adivi Sesh has carved out a successful path since he began writing films with Kshanam in 2016. His subsequent works, including Goodachari, Evaru, and Major, have all been significant hits. In a recent interview, he stated, “I have always said I’m an effective actor and a good writer. The writing largely happened because I didn’t know anyone and I didn’t know how to audition, which is a special talent in itself, and something I believe… has nothing to do with actually performing in a film. I clearly realized that the writing has been in service of my career as an actor.”
