Mumbai: The action-packed drama Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, featuring Adivi Sesh in the lead role, has achieved remarkable success, earning over Rs 15 crore on its opening day globally, as reported by the film's producers on Saturday.

Co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap, the film is directed by Shaneil Deo, who also collaborated with Sesh on the screenplay.

This bilingual film, shot in both Telugu and Hindi, premiered in theaters on Friday. According to the production team, "Adivi Sesh's Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha has made a strong impression at the box office, grossing over Rs 15 crore in India on its first day.
