Urmila Kanetkar, born on May 4, 1986, is not only a skilled actress but also a trained Kathak dancer. She holds a Master of Arts degree from St Xavier's College in Mumbai. Urmila began her acting career in 2003 with the television series Tuzyavina. Following her debut, she made a brief appearance in Ankur and later starred in Tuzech Mi Geet Gaat Aahe on Star Pravah. Additionally, she has been involved in Hindi television shows such as Mera Sasural and Maayka.
Within three years of starting her acting journey, Urmila transitioned to films, debuting in the Marathi movie Shubha Mangal Saavadhan in 2006. She has since appeared in various Marathi films, including Savalee, Duniyadari, Timepass, Tapaal, Timepass 2, Autograph – Ek Japun Thevavi Ashi Lovestory, Guru, and others.
