Adah Sharma's Shocking Experience with a Film Producer: A Tale of Date Conflicts
Adah Sharma Shares Her Frustrating Encounter
Mumbai: Actress Adah Sharma took to social media to disclose a troubling incident involving a film producer who verbally abused her manager regarding scheduling conflicts for a movie.
In a video posted on her Instagram account, Adah explained that she was juggling three film projects, but due to constant changes in the schedule of the first film, it overlapped with the other two.
Despite this, the producer of the initial film demanded that Adah's manager secure the same dates, resorting to harsh language in the process.
Adah recounted, "He insisted, 'I want these dates no matter what.' When my manager questioned him, he reaffirmed, 'Yes, I want these dates. They cannot be altered.'"
Fortunately, the directors of the other two films were understanding and agreed to adjust their schedules without any fuss. In fact, the producer of the third project had to rearrange the entire cast's dates due to Adah's situation.
After resolving the scheduling issues, the producer unexpectedly changed his mind, stating, "I no longer want those dates," which left Adah without work for an entire month.
Expressing her frustration to her followers, Adah concluded her post with, "My life is ruined. I have been completely idle for a month—emotionally, mentally, professionally, and financially."
Previously, Adah, who received acclaim for her role in The Kerala Story, discussed her absence from the sequel.
She remarked, "I prefer to talk about films I am involved in. Discussing a film I’m not part of just for publicity feels inappropriate. Whether I was offered the sequel or not is a private matter between the filmmakers and the actor. The first part focused on ISIS camps in Afghanistan, illustrating how an innocent girl becomes a terrorist. The second part tells a different story altogether."
