Filming is anticipated to start around October 2026. The screenplay, crafted by Piyush Gupta and Neeraj Singh, is nearing completion, requiring only minor adjustments before production begins.

Farhan Akhtar has been cast in a significant role, portraying Lala Amarnath's closest companion, a character who transitions from undivided India to Pakistan post-Partition. Both Aamir and Farhan are expected to undergo rigorous cricket training to prepare for their roles.
