In mid-2025, Goldberg and The Dudley Boyz declared their retirement, followed by four more legendary wrestlers who stepped away between December 2025 and April 2026.


1. John Cena

The record 17-time world champion, John Cena, moved fans to tears when he announced his retirement in December 2025. On the night of December 13, in front of over 19,000 fans, Cena emotionally concluded his career. Throughout his WWE journey, Cena participated in a total of 178 matches across PPVs and PLEs, securing victories in 102 and facing defeat in 73.
