Celebrating Telugu Cinema: The Gaddar Telangana Film Awards


In a significant move, the Telangana government has reinstated its esteemed state film awards, now known as the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, in honor of the legendary poet and singer Gaddar. The winners for the 2025 edition were revealed today, marking a grand celebration of Telugu cinema. Rashmika Mandanna and Naga Chaitanya were recognized as the top winners in the Best Actor category, while the film Raju Weds Rambai took home the award for Best Film. These awards celebrate both seasoned veterans and emerging talents, covering various categories including social message films, children's cinema, national integration, music, choreography, and more. Special honors were also given to cinematic legends such as Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Aswani Dutt, and Jayasudha.

Rashmika Mandanna earned the Best Actress award for her role in The Girlfriend, while Naga Chaitanya won Best Actor for his performance in Tandel. Raju Weds Rambai was honored as Best Film, with Dandora and The Great Pre-Wedding Show receiving second and third place respectively.
