Mamata Banerjee's Bold Claims Post First Phase Voting

Following the initial phase of voting in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed strong confidence in her party's success. She challenged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), asserting that after securing victory in Bengal, her next target will be to take control of Delhi. Banerjee emphasized that her goal is not merely to hold power but to dismantle the BJP's influence.

During a public rally in Kolkata, Banerjee stated, 'I have noted the names of those acting as BJP's agents. I even know their home locations. Do you think you can keep an eye on us? You scrutinized people's family backgrounds and brought them into the BJP, making them officials. We have recorded all their names.'

She further declared, 'Remember, you do not possess the capability to defeat us. We will fight against injustice and for our rights. I was born in Bengal and will die here. After winning Bengal, I will take over Delhi. I will unite all parties. I do not seek power; I want to see the downfall of the BJP in Delhi. Not only will the BJP face defeat in Bengal, but we will also remove them from Delhi.'
