Modi Criticizes TMC and Promises Change at Katwa Rally
Prime Minister Modi Addresses Rally in Katwa
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at a rally in the Katwa assembly constituency of Purba Bardhaman. During his address, he launched a strong critique against the Trinamool Congress and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, asserting that the large crowds at BJP rallies are indicative of the upcoming changes in West Bengal. He emphasized that the massive turnout in Bardhaman signifies a significant shift in the state's political landscape.
Modi highlighted the recent elections in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, noting the high voter turnout, particularly among women. He pointed out that in states like Bihar, Maharashtra, and Haryana, where substantial voting occurred, the BJP-NDA coalition secured overwhelming majorities.
TMC Government Criticized for Corruption
Referring to the TMC government as ruthless, Modi announced that the BJP would release a white paper on alleged corruption and take action against those involved in political violence in West Bengal. He criticized the policies of the TMC government for ruining the future of potato farmers in the state. Modi assured the public that while the BJP would not obstruct the TMC's initiatives, it would put an end to corruption and exploitation.
Ayushman Bharat Health Scheme to Be Implemented
During the rally in Katwa, Modi stated that the 15 years of TMC rule had only instilled fear among the citizens of West Bengal. He promised that if the BJP comes to power, the first cabinet meeting would see the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat health scheme. Additionally, he warned illegal immigrants to start packing their belongings, indicating that their time in the state is coming to an end. Modi also mentioned that those aiding illegal immigrants would not be spared.
